How many people will pay if DP charge for membership?

    DP forum is free..

    But if DP charge for 10 usd to be a forum member..how many will pay?

    I think about 50% of active members will pay. What is your opinion?

    It depend on how much does it charge.
    If dp charges, people prefer to be a non registered member.
    If non registered member could not explorer the forum, people prefer to anywhere else.

    What do you think?

    If it only $10 per year, I will pay for it. No big deal. I have join other forum that charge membership fee more than that.

    I think its reasonable on Buy and Sell forum only if thats the case. But not the whole forum.

    Yes i agree...even with one time fee 10 usd if times 10,000 active members..it will be 100,000 usd profit already.

    In certain country..with 100,000 usd they can retire..

    I will be willing to pay the $10 fee provided it's a one time payment deal. If it's yearly I will still consider it, but if it's monthly then it's just too expensive.

    Listen i will tell you something, Calculations will be the same, and i think Shawn is earning more if he kept it free.

    because advertising is doing it all, google adsense is paying him more than enough. if it became a paid membership forum, then lets say 25% will pay and the rest will vanish to other forums so google adsense payout will decrease more than 70%. Dp is not a unique forum, but its one of the best webmasters forum at this time.
