As most of you may know, Title Tags are one of the most important attributes to SEO. It appears.... and I would love some feedback on this..... that you dont have to repeat words on the Title tag I'll explain: Say you are trying to rank for Blue Widgets.... and you have you Title Tag say: Blue Widgets --- New Widgets --- Crazy Widget Sales --- Amazing Widgets Buy Its possible to rank at the top for: Blue Crazy Widgets (even though you dont have them in that order) This might sound confusing... But I think mentioning the word once is enough...... and have noticed this from my rankings I notice I rank for a keyword that I didnt intend.... it was a mixture of 3 words I had, not in order..... such as "Blue Crazy Widgets"
The main keyword of your page is "Blue Crazy Widgets" but you need off-page optimization for the same keyword also to get better rank.
Thanks for the tip buddy . I think we have to concentrate on title of blog post and first paragraph to get Google traffic too .
Yes you could rank for almost any merge of your title text and content even if it's not in the same order, focus more on off-page optimization by building more links to your website using the targeted anchor text and you will be fine. In some cases I've noticed that Google focus more on keywords/phrases comes in order like in your case, however some times and almost all the time they don't care at all about the content of your site and ranks based on the anchor text only !!!
I think that main keywords must use in title tag with some supporting keywords init and rest should be used in description and keywords tag as well.
Put it like this..... say you're trying to rnak high for Red products....... and you have your title tag say: Red Products | Red Shoes | Red Shirts | Red Hats | Red Pencils I think you are wasting Title Tag space by repeating "red" I think jusrt having it say: Red Products - Shoes | Shirts | Hats | Pencils That way, you could also fit more keywords in
But like their are many guys saying that use targeted anchor text which i think can be used only while writing posts and hyper linking them . But in comments we can't change our names again and again by inserting different keywords . Is that good for us if we do so .
Title tag and the descriptions meta tag, these two tags are important especially the title tag. And yes, you can rank for the words even if they are not mentioned in order in your page title.
In your article you may have those words. Google ranks looking at the article content for noncompetitive keywords.
Mainly title tags are important something like identification labels for spiders to know your site better. However, one thing I want to add on is that even if you rank well for the combination of the 3 different words, it does not necessarily means title tags are the sole factor to it. There could be other factors as well such as having the keywords coming from contents or backlinks and that’s why you rank well for that search phrase as well.
I've found that getting the words in the title once, in any order, then getting some back links with the exact phrase usually does the job. So I try to make my titles and descriptions something that will encourage people to click on my link when they read my title and description...then focus the link building on what they would type into the search engine.
