How can I track the best converting keywords?

    Hi,

Im going to start promoting some Clickbank products through a review website. Traffic will be 99-100% PPC from Google AdWords. I want to know if its possible to be able to track which keywords from AdWords are bringing me the sales in clickbank. I don't own the clickbank products so cant place anything on their sites. I can only place a code/script on my review site.

Anyone know of a code/script that can do this for me?

    Thank you.

Are you planning on sending people to the publisher's site, or straight to the payment link?

From what I know sending them to the publishers site is best? I haven't used clickbank before so I could be wrong. If I am be sure to correct me :)

This goes at the top of the index.php for your website(landing page)

After you put this code at the top of the index.php
do the following for each hyperlink:

assign each keyword with a number, and redirect to your landing page using the appopriate number in the following manner

Keyword #1 - How to play football (redirects to)
    http://www.yourpage.com/index.php?id=1

Keyword #2 - Best way to play football (redirects to)
    http://www.yourpage.com/index.php?id=2

Keyword #3 - Where to play football (redirects to)
    http://www.yourpage.com/index.php?id=3

by doing this, the hops will be tracked in your CB account, and you can see which keyword converts the best, each keyword will be a separate number in your clickbank account.

Nice bit of code, there is some desktop software you can buy that'll help you track your keywords, but this is so much easier.

Another way is to ask the publisher to put the adwords tracking code on his page, that way you'll be able to track the sales directly from your adwords account

Thanks for that. But I have a question... Or two :)

Where exactly do i put the code for the index.php. Would the index.php be a text document or do i enter the code into the HTML for my landing page? Im a little confused there. Im thinking index.php is like a text file that I will uplaod to my site?

    Thanks again :D
