ACNE products Niche = To be or Not to Be ?

    Hi,
I am just starting with clickbank and chose the ACNE niche for my first site which I intend to promote via PPC and Ezinearticles.com
While doing some research I found acne products to have a gravity of 100 - 30 -10 etc is this good? Also on google there are hadly any Affiliates promoting Acne products (digital)...... Does all this mean that the niche is not profitable?

Should I back out and choose someother niche?

The niche is profitable if you promote it correctly. And yes, there is competition, but it's not too saturated.
A lot of people are promoting the 3 day acne clickbank program.
I think you will be able to profit from this niche if you work hard, and do the rights steps..

I've made "Acne Free in 3 Days" sales with adwords, then due to low landing page quality score Google raised my minimum bid to $5. Going to try ezinearticles and other methods to get traffic when I re-enter the niche.

What do you mean you're "planning to promote"? What's the hold up? You made a thread like a few days ago. You should already have a landing page up with several articles already submitted for it. It's not brain surgery. You don't have to do everything perfect. Just do it.

Yeah, just start, get a review page up and start sending traffic to it. People with acne want solutions and are willing to pay to clear up their skin. If you're going to use adwords though and are new to ppc, read everything you can first, otherwise go for it.

The Acne is a very and i mean very competitive niche - especially if you are thinking to promote via ppc.

Keep in mind that apart from the acne clickbank products being promoted, there are loads of other physical products (Creams, Pills, Treatments, etc) that advertise trough ppc which will result in lot of costy clicks.

    Good Luck!

I Agree with "web_18designer", the Acne Niche is not a good niche to start with. it's way too competitive and will cost you a lot of money to begin with.

I hope you're not promoting 'Acne Free in 3 Days'.

That's the biggest hoax ever to hit Clickbank. Go on acne forums and you find people wanting to sue him. He doesn't honor his money-back guarantee either.

The guide tells you to drink water and eat apples for 3 days - mega acne cure?

    Mega acne SCAM.

Obviously there are people that makes money in that niche but its unlikely that you make it if you are not somewhat experienced or advertise differently from the rest...good luck!

I've contemplated promoting acne products, but yeah.. too competitive for beginners.

If I were to promote an acne product (from Clickbank), I'd probably want to try and rank/make articles for very specific problems, eg. pimple on neck, pimples on jawline, how to get rid of pimple on chin, etc.

There are sooooo many terms these people could possibly be searching for. Plus, who doesn't have or get pimples/acne these days? It's a HUGE problem. It can affect people in ways you can't imagine, and people are desperate for a solution.

But yeah.. with all the acne products (treatments) and eBooks available and all the hype and BS about acne around, I guess it just makes it alot harder to make sales.

Let's just say the acne niche is competitive, but in a good way. :)
