I feel that you have to knock of the team who holds the trophy! So with the Giants being 2-0, they are still the best team, and the team to beat! The Cowboys may be the most talented though!

Nah, the Giants are simply the best that there is. The Cowboys are quite good, but when push comes to shove, they'll crumble when it matters. Even with a healthy Tom Brady, the Giants are the better team.

I agree! Did you know that the Cowboys have not won a Playoff game in over 11 years??? They simply choke when it matters! Wade Phillips is a horrible coach, he can only win in the regular season. When it comes to crunch time, he doesn't win! Great coaches like Tom Coughlin & Bill Belichick win when the heat is on! Did you also know that Tom Coughlin is the only couch in NFL history to win a playoff game when coaching an expansion team??? Just some food for thought!

I cannot argue with what the Giants did last year (truly amazing) but this year is this year, not last.

If the Giants don't win their first 6 games then something is wrong...I mean have you SEEN their schedule???

    come on!

Cowboys, until they can prove then can win a playoff game then yeah, big deal for them. 13-3 means jack when you lose the 1st playoff game :(

Hope it's a good game tonight and or they crush the Eagles :D:D

The Giants look good, but not great. I don't think they are the best team this year.

I really don't care who wins tonight, but I would like to see Brian Dawkins crush T.O. one good time to knock some sense in him, and then maybe he will stop talking about McNabb.

    **Edit**

I don't know who the singer was, but she just completely butchered the anthem lol.

The boys won. Not pretty but won. DeSean Jackson was awesome dropping the ball before scoring. I wished the cowboys could have stopped them so the play would be remembered forever.

not pretty is like 10-6, this was OTC (off the charts). if you mean there were a ton of mistakes then yes, but forget not being pretty, it was intense!

Roy "blown coverage" Williams is out 3-4 weeks with a fractured forearm

don't get me started on the refs. they blew a bunch of calls, some for some against the boys. we're in for a very long, very crappy officiating year if the first two weeks of the season are any indication

they need to stop blowing the damn whistle on close plays for one!!!

It was one of the best games I've seen in awhile. I can't wait until they face off again. It's only week 2, and both teams were playing with unbelievable intensity. We are in for a great NFL season.

Desean Jackson, hahahaha. I saw on Sportscenter he did basically the same thing during a high school all star game.

Yeah, I can only imagine that the Linc will be nuts when they go up there to play them. The team will probably hand out D batteries to all the fans too

even though the eagles scored on the next play it was frickin hilarious that he did that! what a MO-RON!! :D

The D-fence can't let teams score that much.

QFT. no lie. I said that during the game, I said, "I thought our D was better than this?"

then again, it was just one of those games.
then again...holy McNabb with the escape act time after time again!!!!

Eagles might be the most under rated team in the NFC...healthy McNabb = STRONG team.

When your playing within your division all basic concepts of the NFL are thrown out, big plays happen since the teams know each other so well.

The Eagles are also missing Kevin Curtis, and Reggie Brown.

true enough, anything can happen *(and usually does) within the division games!

I bet the Feagles fans are really bemoaning that fact, that their WR's were out...oh yeah! well we were without Kyle Kosier :p

I wonder how many snaps Newman was in on last night...I think they still wanted to use him in just situational downs based on his groin.

good to see Miles Austin getting a few key catches too!

Tarvaris Jackson has just been officially benched. Gus Frerotte is now the starter. If he can play even semi good, the Vikings will be the team I think they are.

Vince Young has also been benched for pretty much the rest of the year.

Bob Sanders, free safety of the Colts is out 4-6 weeks with a high ankle sprain. He is pivotal to their defense. I'm feeling like the Colts won't make a run this year? They just aren't the same, too many injuries.

GF is an upgrade I think. Good on BC for making the change though, something had to be done.

We live in Austin, hate the Longhorns (wife went to Texas Tech)...so we laugh in the face of the Ricky Williams, Cedric Bensons, and now Vince Youngs!!
    LAME!!!

BS IS the face of that defense you are exactly right, he makes it go. PM is good but he's not that good to overcome their O-line injuries. I think you are right. Wildcard if they are lucky this year??

I think it's an upgrade too, and maybe Tarvaris Jackson will gain some knowledge sitting on the bench watching a veteran, something he hasn't done yet.

Come to think of it, UofT has had tons of players drafted, and not many of them become stars. I do like Vince Young though, I believe he physically has the skill sets to become a great quarterback, but mentally he hasn't proven himself.

I think it's very possible for the Colts to either get bumped out by the Jaguars, or the Titans.

Did you hear about Chris Cooley's accident? He was taking photos of his playbook to put on his website. Well come to find out he was actually naked while doing it, and one of the photos had his genitals in it hahahaha. It was posted on his site for a day or so. He never reviewed the photos, so it's a honest mistake. That has to be one of most embarrassing things I've ever heard. Cooley seems like a real down to earth person to I can't bash on him too much, besides he's one heck of a player.

UT has a lot of lineman that turned out pretty good, Shawn Rodgers, Leonard Davis just to name too...seems like the higher profile ones don't exactly pan out!

lol, cooley took a page out of Britney Spears playbook sounds like :p

Next thing we know he'll be married to Kevin Federline.

It doesn't appear the main stream media has caught on to it, if he was a high profile player like Tony Romo, or Chad Johnson then it would be enough to tarnish a legacy hahahah.
