Using Squidoo, Hubpages.

I agree that the subject is popular and universal at least in the USA, with kids, parents and even old dogs like me!
My niche doesn't really allow much broad appeal, pardon the pun! Anyone have an idea how to make sexy lingerie a subject that the family talks about around the kitchen table? Just asking!

 

I had a broadband keyword phrase optimied in squidoo as well... ranked well for about a week and now a month on it has completely dropped out of the index

Maybe sandboxed?

 

Wow that's pretty cool, I haven't had a lens rank better than 7000 I think, so yeah it's probably down to the niche and it's popularity.

 

I've never used hubpages but I've got a smokin hot squidoo lens going right now. It gets first place in squidoo on the targeted keyword phrase. I direct mega traffic back to my other sites with that lens, mainly one site but wow. I'm a believer now. I guess I need to go check out hubpages. Thanks for that great advice.

That sounds great. I guess the secret is to target the right niche and the right keywords. Care to share any secrets to your success with Squidoo?

 

I have a Squidoo account. Right now I have the first paragraph or so of articles and then a text link that says to click to read the rest of it. Apparently it is not enough content even with 300 or so words.
I was trying to get traffic to my articles this way but under the circumstances I am considering a different strategy. I am thinking about including the entire article with a text link to my home page.
This should be no problem but I want to put 7 or so additional text links back to other articles and or product pages. Will Squiidooo consider this spamming or penalize me in any way

 

Gee is that all - even with 300 words - why not go 20 or even 50 links ? Why not turn in into a total link spam pool.

 

is it as simple as writing more relevant articles and posting them?

You can increase your score by participating in the community such as being a fan of other hubbers, commenting on hubs, etc..

 

I have not used them yet,but now i think i will have to.Is there some good place to learn how to use them good ?

 

Trial and improvement is the best method IMO mate.

 

Yeah its not that hard, at first you will make an article and then use the plugins, then Iusually find ideas on other lenses

 

i heard squidoo is great place for back links but can u guide me how i can work in that
