I am looking for a semi/customizable flash mp3 player for a web site of mine with wordpress backend... I know there are loads of free ones out there but none are quite exactly what I'm looking for.... The problem with most is they will play on the page you are at, but if you dont leave that page open or if you navigate to another page then obviously the song will stop....can be irritating to listeners etc. What I have in mind or am looking for is. Basically a mp3 flash player that is embeded in the actual site going along the bottom, and it would play and continue to play even when you navigate around the site,(different pages) but have the ability/controls to manually hit stop, next track, raiser or lower volume, randomize etc. It would need to read mp3 files that will be in a folder hosted directly on the server...I would also like to have a way to make hyperlinks throughout the site that if you clicked on them that particular song would start playing on the player... Also it would need to have the option of if I wanted to allow them to download the mp3's or only stream. Sorry for the long read, but wanted to be as detailed as possible. there are feature here that are impossible. Having an Mp3 player play well changing pages is definitely not a function that can be used. Most likely never be used.
this is not true.... As I mentioned in my description I have a website that is basically exactly what I am looking for. I have seen and heard with my own eyes.. So I know it can be done, and would think fairly easy to someone expierienced feel free to PM me and I can link you to the site... Otherwise anyone that can handle this please let me know! Hey, swishman thanks for the link boss! Just so you know though it's actually a .net not a .com nothing a quick google search couldnt fix. Any how I found pretty much what I was looking for on there, but problem is the flash file needs some small edits, like I would like to change the color and the text to match my site a bit better if any one is able to do that please let me know.
