I hope he answers soon, would be a shame to see this downtime affect the reputation of his business. yes you are absolutelly right, iwhic is a good guy and yes jason and aimie are good ppl they do what they can, but good guy thas not mean good host. good host is the host which provides help 24/7 adress, telephone number, and live chat for example... and definetly not the one which is promissing help 24/7 then is not answering for 2 days "we dont do oversell... we are promess 99% uptime..." im so sorry to confirm that again, my site never ever eaven on the worse host such as registerfly was down so many times in this short period of time
Yah, Jason was a great guy. And a very cool person to talk with and he always help me with my hosting problems. My first ever VPS is from him, First few days having it I am very happy, but later I realize that my site is eating so much RAM, well that's what hyperVM has been showing to me. So I got no choice but to upgrade my VPS which Jason was so helpful giving me cheap upgrades, And then later this month I decided to transfer to a new VPS from other VPS provider then lately I just realize that my site is not using that much RAM just like what it used to when I was still with iWhic, and considering same amount of traffic.
Jason hasn't been online since this thread was started. Let's wait for his reply before jumping into conclusions
I also have a support ticket which has not been answered for a couple of days, So I am kind of relieved to see this thread. From what I've read at dp this does seem very out of character for IwhiC They don't happen to reside in Texas by any chance do they? I'm sure there will be a good explanation for this.
A good host is one who Updates his Resellers & Clients about the Downtime. This thread will definitely make IwhiC clients to pack their backs & switch to new servers.. Im one of them..!
I don't remember where Jason lives, but maybe because of the hurricanes? Hostgator is also having major problems with the hurricanes that could be it. Because I have not seen him online. - Prilep
i know about hurricanes in us and im so sorry, but eaven that what about a week ago? two weeks ago, free weeks ago? month ago? two months ago? bad luck? about hostgator hmm that strange i have few sites with them and did not realise any problems not a minute down time from 4 months! when i started with them.
Do you mean... there's no support for almost two months??.. well last support i got from them was on 29-08-2008... So please go check your spambox Guys/Gals dont panic... be patient and wait for IwhiC's reply !
It has already been 2 days since Jason logged on to DP!! Is he Keeping himself under cover ? i dont think Jason has put on his evil face by shutting the servers down knowingly!!

Iwhic has been Hosting my sites as well since sometime now. And they have been nothing less than excellent. Every Host have their problems sometime or other. I hope it will be resolved soon.
My sites are down again (freedom server). IWHIC may have a good rep, but I'm getting A LOT of downtime lately... IWHIC is costing me visitors and therefore money.
Well my sites have yet to go down, however I'm on the proxy server so who knows. Anyrate, to clear something up, if its down IwhiC is probably working on it instead of responding because think about this, you want the server up more than you want it to be down. If they responded to all of your stuff, and then fixed teh server, it would take a lot longer to get put back online. Be patient. IwhiC is in no way horrible, he just has problems and is having a tough time fixing them maybe. I will never leave him, he has done a good job with hosting my proxies, and well I'm fine thank you.
