    4 Sep is fine, You can see the gap of one week or more for not so important sites for Google.

    Most good blogger says that you should not keep updating blog daily . do 1 to 2 post in few days so google bots can crawl all of your content or otherwise the day they will visit our blogs , they only crawl main page content .

    Do you have a sitemap ready? It's either you can work your way through by using feeds at high traffic forum or you can also leave url comments at blogs to make it come crawl more often.

    Do a index search on google using site:www.yourdomain.com. Check if your latest post is indexed. In most cases it will be. Don't follow what Google Webmaster account is saying. It is not real time info.

    Let us know your findings.

    Guys and girls, if you feel, that you do not get crawled as often as you should, then do some linking to your page. And do not only link to the front page, but get links to the pages that you would like to get crawled. Use digg.com and google is almost sure going to check out the site. And think about the way how your in site links are done and if they are good for google or not.

    my main arcade site gets crawled crawled every 1-2 days and cached every 2-4 days. Build more links and use rss feeds if possible and your site should get crawled more often.

    Hi "infograb"

    I think you are right... even am facing the same problem of caching by Google. Almost last 10 days Google didn't cached any of my sites. I have 15 sites and all the site's cache dates are some what similiar.

    But i don't think this will create any problem... or it will (even am looking for the answer for this)

    it probably won't help in Google but using meta tags might help your site being updated more often if you are updating you contents as well. Just put a meta tag inside the head section of your page, such as
    <meta name="revisit-after" content="3 days">

    Also you can use Google webmaster tools https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools and select faster crawl option
