I guess you can lump me into that category as well.

And if you really think Guerilla displays an "anti-US agenda" then you obviously are not listening to him at all....

don't let the neocons in from the back door. they are called the changecons now.
don't forget who you are dealing with. they started as democrats or maybe even socialists. these people change color very fast. chaney's office is full of them. The country can not afford another term of these people.

I think guerilla's desires for America would destroy the very nation he says he loves. I will not call him anti-American, but I do not agree with his vision of America except for some very limited areas seeking a more limited government.

His repeated claims that America is run by a "select" few and by other nations/religions and similarly worded missives have made his positions on many issues very clear for anyone paying attention. As an American he is free to his opinion as I am free to mine.

When he says that a McCain administration would be run by AIPAC I called him on it as I have with his more outrageous posts. Considering he has stated he was a Republican but takes no responsibility for their actions and yet calls supporters of Clinton complicit in murder, to me, shows his narrow minded and perverted thinking on many issues related to America.

He takes the blame for nothing and only criticize others and their positions. It is easy to be a monkey wrench and claim everything is wrong. 9-11 is a perfect example where he will simply attack everyone else but will never put forward anything that he believes in - just attack everyone else for actually taking a position or stating a belief. While there was a time I could respect him even though we disagreed that has long since passed. He has leveled numerous false accusations at me while claiming to be a victim. People need to earn and keep my respect. He has not.

I also have no desire for a full on debate on but I also was not about to let another of his twisted comments slide by without comment. And like GRIM said I do not think forum threads should be about a particular person. My comment is only to clear up my position since it was an exchange between he and I that precipitated the current topic.

I think I once posted a Venn diagram showing that he and I certainly do share some opinions but on the big questions on how America should be run he and I have very different views. I welcome him to share his views in this forum. My feeling is the answer to thinking one does not agree with is not to shut him up but rather to counter it with my own comments.

    Okay, have at it.

LOL, I seriously dont think there's evidence the governor of Alaska ever favored seceding, and the fact that as governor she spoke nicely to them in her address to their convention means she is an elected official, not a secessionist. ;) As for her husband having been a member, I've never gotten the impression they're a militant group intent on the destruction of the nation... so based on what I said earlier about Obama's personal fundraiser buddy Bill Ayres... I think the guys that DO favor Obama want to avoid the topic of dangerous associations... they'd lose that argument hands down.

I used to get a lot more into Political discussions years ago and it honestly threatened my health at one point. Made a few changes that have long since made me less subject to giving a rats petoot about what someone else thought.

If I can offer a non-solicited piece of advice... don't let anyone in here (me or otherwise) get under your skin. None of us is gonna decide a freakin thing or influence a single soul... except for the rarest of instances we're all just talking AT one another. If you ever get a chance to visit Texas I'd buy you a beer or pour you a bourbon whether or not we ever agree on a damned thing here. Unless of course you dont like bourbon, in which case you're evil. :)

I have not heard him say anything positive about America. I do not think he shares our pride in our country or our ability to see the good. He is blinded by what he sees as wrong and appears unable to accept that different people can all try to do what they think is best for America.

I certainly think both John McCain and Barack Obama desire to do what they feel is best for America - he thinks they desire to do the bidding of others. It is that thinking that I totally disagree with.

I've apologized for this, and I truly do feel shame about it.

Thanks for those who were willing to stick by me, but maybe I don't deserve it. I walked last time, and although some people asked me to come back, maybe it was just better I stay away (for everyone).

I'm sorry. I don't want to cause upset anyone or cause them pain.

I certainly do not desire to shut you up or have you leave. I just reserve the right to speak out myself if I disagree with you.

A lot of us have said something in a forum (or in person) we wished we hadnt. Seldom however does anyone make a heartfelt apology. Nicely said.

guerilla, it isn't your fault this time. You've been sticking to the issues since you've been back.
I probably shouldn't have made the comment that I made because it wasn't all that relevant to the debate, but on the other hand if GRIM didn't have this thing for me it wouldn't have been made into a big deal.

I deleted my posts about guerilla. Although I don't take back anything I said, the things he's said and done were in the past and this was not the appropriate thread for that stuff(if any thread is). Hopefully everyone else who quoted me will delete their posts or it will make it even harder to follow.

Mad? Me? rofl. You havent been reading a thing I've said from the sound of it. That's OK, reading disabilities arent a joking matter. I'm basically ignoring the semi-literate rants, I suspect they're based on some unfortunate sociological factor I dont know about.:)

How hypocritical...I did just that a week ago, about our spat, yet you still keep sending me threatening emails and calling me names on my blog, after I had forgotten all about you.
    That's pretty sad.:(

Harold, Try not to divert threads. I have copies of the threatening emails (which came from you), and a phone record of who phoned whom. Now toddle off and get a life.
