"In May this year, Sen. Joseph Lieberman demanded YouTube to block videos depicting assassinations, death of US soldiers, as well as weapon training and speeches that encourage violence and could be used as a tool to create homegrown terrorists."

LOL i dont know of a thing in this world that encourages more violence than the US army and US government LOL...homegrown terrorists? what do you call a guy who flies over half the world to drop bombs on people? LOL

If its on Belgrade he would be called a hero. But if the people of your town had planes with bombs they would not fly around the world to drop them. They would fly to your neighborhood and try to kill the blame layers and hate spreaders.

So you think private companies should not be allowed to make their own rules? They should not have the right to decide what material they distribute?

There is nothing wrong with Sen. Lieberman asking YouTube to comply with his wishes. YouTube is still free to accept or reject his council.

You and I are free to build our own free speech video sharing site if we are so inclined.

Unless there is more to the story not being reported (ie. blackmail by Leiberman) I'm not seeing any point in getting feathers ruffled.

BTW, S1959 is odius and anti-American.

Who are these 'hired thugs' I thought we had this discussion before?

Your hate for the US shines through, hate such as yours is the problem 'pacifist' or not.

bombs away then!...ill be sure to stop by youtube and make a pro "bomb the world" video like some hired thug its sure to promote peace

Soldiers do as they are ordered, your hate has blinded you from reality and makes your posts in all honesty a joke and nothing more.

atvking pretty much kills every decent thread out there that is based on the US government through eyes that hate our country. So, i'm going to try to get this one back on topic and hopefully just ignore him.

Does anyone know where you can actually see this bill as it was written?

Based on the quote from Lieberman up there I really don't see any problem with that. And assuming that the bill states what his comment says, giving a bible scripture via a video is far from "speech that encourages violence". While I think that there is room for interpretation there, most videos that fall under that line I wouldn't have any desire to watch anyhow.

The bill sucks. eBay has the right to do what it wants on its own accord.
