one site having old url: http://www.myurl.com/page1.html & now i have changed it to http://www.myurl.com/information.html. also that site having no link building done. so is that necessary to redirect that old page1.html to new information.html & for that which redirection should i use (please specify example of Redirection) , if i don't use any redirection then does it affects to that site (again i have not done any linkbuilding). i am waiting for your reply guyss !!
With no links to the old page1.html, there is no need to redirect anything. (If you had links, you should have used a 301 redirect).
@Daniel Your Old urls are indexed in Search engine and now you've changed URL name so you should go with 301 Redirection for old Urls to new urls so you wont loss any thing. if you've not build back links for your internal pages so its ok but 301 redirection would be the better for your site. http://www.isitebuild.com/301-redirect.htm also Other webmasters will guide you in details so wait for better comments.
