Entrecard is a kind of blog link exchange. New blogs do benefit from it but you have to really work hard. This was created by the same guy who had a dream of selling 10,000 wiki pages for a million dollar but later he sold the mdw site. May be today I should check out that mdw site. I had great fun posting in their forum last year. Hope the forum still exists
I don't think so. It's just a 125*125 px image. Put it in less viewed areas like bottom of right sidebar,etc.
Entrecard traffic is useless for money. You'll get the hits but 99.9% just drop and bounce immediately to the next blog in the ring. Don't expect to make any money from them. I'd subtract those visits from your total to get a real estimate on your CTR and earnings.

Did your traffic increase but your number of clicks remain the same? My theory is entrecard traffic is the click, drop card, move onto next entrecard site type. In other words they are there to drop cards and move on, they know what adsense is and are unlikely to click on those ads. Just a theory.
it is exactly that. anybody coming to a your blog is mostly via using toolbar (FF) or moving from one card to another and simply dropping their own card. chances are very very less that someone is going to read the content!
There is nothing wrong with entrecard, it just you're too hype talking about revenue that possible come from entrecard's traffic. Entrecard is so much fun and moreover im using it at each of my blog, nothing wrong with it. It depend on what your objective with entrecard. Im doing a dropped sometimes and it just for fun and moreover if you know how to manipulated the entrecard im sure you will gain some money from it.
