thats so true. putting a human element in any discussion always boosts my traffic. in fact the most popular page on my site is the "philosophy" page, which got an insane number of stumbles.

Yeah, thanks for the info that you kindly provided. I think Digg has the best effects, as I get more incoming traffic from Digg than Delicious.

 

Could be... although Digg kind of never worked for me. It just gave spike of traffic and nobody returned (roughly speaking).

very intersting. i am a newbie myself and i am doing those things. Article submission, blogging, link exchange and social bookmarking although i would say I am not realy good at socialbookmarking. I am still learning my way to that...Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Very nice article.

Something that I might add, is if you have the time, try convincing one of the guru's of digg to submit your article. If they have 100's of articles that have made front page, they have a lot more friends which will see that digg post, and most likely digg it because of the fact that they are a guru.

Posting a digg article yourself means that you have to really have an impact to get front page.. but having someone who gets home page articles all the time, gives you a 90% better chance.

Heh, well... I actually haven't spend too much attention to those sites. I let users submit content on those sites and let them tell their opinion...

I suppose working on that part could be fruitful.
