here in the uk you have to pay tax.. so i dont see why india should be any difference.. call the income and tax support line, or customs etc..

but for sure you have to pay tax on everything you earn.

No you don't need to pay an income tax. The earning you make is a remittance in India but not here in USA.

Anywhere in the world, you need to pay income tax for such a huge amount. You've got to talk to the Income Tax Department of your Country to check with it.
Seriously,if you earn $3000 per month, then you HAVE TO PAY tax(It's not $20 or $30.....its $3000  )

and if you dont... the tax man will come to your house and demand the tax from all the months you have earned... and then that could be like a $200k tax bill...

    Exactly!!
    This is what,im confused off..
I also heard from some resources that,if we are earnign in foreign Currency, then no need to pay taxes..

I use my ICICI and HDFC bank account to withdraw all this month from my PayPal.

Well, anyone who has got a clearcut idea about it????

This can also be a same situation of a Webmaster, who is earning online. I just need to make sure,my Bank Accounts are not traced by the shit Income Tax peoples and im charged...

I have already done some investments worth 1.3 lakhs.

Contact an income tax expert near your home! You will have to pay tax just like any other business, first 1.5 lakh a year is free! then you got to pay tax on the rest of your yearly income.
You will also have to file all details of your income, so get ready to take a lot of print out of the emails on which you made the deals.

If you won't pay AND nobody report you for amazingly high standard of life without work you are OK.
    Of course it is risky.

Second choise is to pay the taxes. If you are smart, you will do it. I won't explain this last 3 sentences, they seems stupid, but some people know exacly what I mean. :p

Ask some laqyer, tell him EXACTLY how you earn, he should have much better information for you.

If you earn like $100's monthly, then it can be 'pocket money', of course $100 in india may be much more than in US.

BTW: With those "foreign currency" I would be carefull, cause if that would be truth, every bussines would chance their currency to foreign, for example wall mart would take EURO in USA :D
You cant run away from paying taxes, unless you chaet them, or you are smart enought to make a perfect accounting

    Exactly!!

But Indian ppl are so shit that, they dont tolerate someone's growing lifestyle...

My neighbour's are jealous of me,my house,my car and my family..
    Argh,Indians are so shit...

Even if im an Indian,im pushed to say this...

Well,i contacted one Chatered Accountant and he said, i have to pay the taxes...

He advised me to make investments in SBI Tax gain and HDFC tax gain and SBI Mutual Funds and LIC..
Im going to invest around 2 lakhs for a year and will file the return file..

So that,i will have to pay around 5-6k as taxes...
    Its ok for me...

    Goodluck...

Just for your information that you can invest only 1 lakh in tax gain MF+LIC+NSC+PPF etc. if you want tax relief. Ask and confirm this with your CA first.

    DON.
