How the hell was this page created in Gif Extension ?????

I am very much confused about this thing

http://www.maxpower.ca/g1/stophotlink.gif

But I need this one badly for redirecting hotlinked images

Can anybody help as to how this was done?

This link isn't working anymore.

 

Just a simple htaccess trick. I wouldn't know how to detect if the image is being hotlinked or not, but the redirect is easy to do.

 

This is not a confusion. You havn't noticed that thats a 404 error page. Its not that gif page. The link is invalid and it is showing you an error page. It doesn't matter whether you give http://www.maxpower.ca/g1/stophotlink.gif or http://www.maxpower.ca/g1/stophotlink or http://www.maxpower.ca/g1/stophot or http://www.maxpower.ca/g1/stophotlink.bmp. All will show you the same thing.
