Could someone please tell me whether or not they've tried one of these TV on Web programs and if they actually work? I'd like to promote one possibly since a bit of research has showed it could be a money maker but I don't want to promote something that'll be high in refunds or anything like that. So if somebody has ever tried one, let me know which ones you've tried and whether their worth promoting or not (from a consumers standpoint.)
I know that sattelite TV is kind of a scam and has got a high refund rate so you don't want to be promoting it.
I got Satellite TV for PC myself. Well, basically the download package consists of 3 software, which in total give you around 3000 channels. Some are English, some are not. The quality is not perfect, but it's watchable. BTW, this niche is pretty saturated.
Also, if you were thinking of Article Marketing, EzineArticles are not accepting any more "tv for pc" articles. At least, that's what I got told when I submitted one. Cheers Zander
The selling of TV on PC software is definately in its death throes. A year or 2 back there was a massive hungry market but now there are so many free tv websites that offer the same channels such as world tv pc and you can download the software for free now. Also sites such as hulu and truveo are offering tv on demand from all the major networks. As a software product, the watch satellite tv on pc software product has an enormous refund rate because its very poor quality and as soon as you see it you feel conned. Apparently though its earned the owner millions in its time. Watching TV on your PC is still popular and if you have a free tv website it will attract visitors.
Yeah I saw that thread alright - a few people were getting a roasting for admitting to promoting it. I used to write a few articles for it when there were big events like the World Cup or NBA and got a few sales. Refund rate was too high for my liking though.
There was a thread once that mentioned that clickbank had a hard time approving such products, more specifically its said that there was 1 tv for pc product and they dont approved anything else in the niche which resulted in a very hight gravity for that product since it was the only one in the market. Dont know about it now...
I got my site approved on clickbank few days ago. They have asked few questions, but I told them that product is as any similar already on Clickbank, and they approved it. Yes, there are some problems with selling this product since Adwords and Ezine articles doesn't allow promoting of these products anymore, but it can still be good selling product if you can achieve targeted traffic for it. Just like in anything else.
You can watch free online tv without paying anything. I felt like scamming people if i promote this kind of product. There are lots of free online tv like sopcast, anttv, tvu etc...
