    It is a human tragedy, given that their standard of living are much lower, $4 to them is a lot of money. I don't understand what you mean by "poorly curried race". IMHO such remarks are quite uncalled for.

    Just to explain, what this rich family is doing is TOTALLY WRONG and is not an Islamic Moral !!

    They gather people in front of their house to give them money

    But, Muhammed (PBUH) said what means : Your left hand mustn't know what your right hand spends.

    These people are SHOWING OFF, that is noway ZAKAT !!
