Hi all, I posted about this topic a few months back and you were all very helpful indeed. Basically I run the football website www.soccerengine.net I took onboard what you said and increased the traffic on my website and now I am finally getting some return on from Google Adsense. My question is this. Now that I have a good traffic base what can I do to my site to improve my click ratios? Do I need to make changes to positioning etc or are there any tricks you can share with me. Since I achieved my first Page Rank I am now earning around $0.20 per day. This does not sound a lot but it is a lot more than nothing. I want to try to take this up to $1 per day now so your views will be most helpful and hopefully of use to other forum users. It has taken me a lot of time to get this far and I want to drive the earnings up. Thankyou for your time.
Great site. Did you develop it yourself or get it done by a professional? Would be interesting to know what kind of software etc. you are using. As per your AdSense income, I will suggest you to focus on increasing your traffic. See if you can get indexed by Google News. Also join Soccer forums and Facebook Soccer group and try to promote it. I think your traffic is still low and you focus should be on building traffic before any of AdSense optimization etc. That is my 2 worth

I agree with the fellow above, targeted traffic is the key to boosting your adsense income. Consider buying links in popular football forums or advertising on adwords.

if your getting a tidy ammount of traffic you should be getting alot more than $0.20 a day, i cant view your site though to give you any tuips as its not loading for me.

Your site has good placement of ads You may want to monitor all your clicks in your site so as to maximize the adsense income. You can get the click position from Google analytics or CrazyEgg.
To increase CTR, I suggest you try different ad units and ad placements and see which combination gives you the best CTR. I personally use 250*250 or 336*280 ad units.
