Not sure if Palin is actually the big subject after all.
The big subject is when Obama shoot himself in the foot by not elect Hillary as VP...

I don't think he should have picked Hillary either. Her dislike of Obama has been replayed many many times. He should of picked someone that was not in any of the primaries.

Kinda like Obama passed off living abroad some as a kid as being serious foreign policy experience? LOL. Hillary tattooed him to the wall on that, he probably wont go there again.

FWIW... I dont think theyre making an attempt to package her as a foreign policy expert. They dont need to. Unlike the other pair, there's more than ample foreign policy cred at the top of the McCain ticket.

I don't think that Russian comment came from Obama just internet nonsense. Foreign policy is an area that Obama does not want to enter his foreign policy consist of shopping at malls in Germany.

    No.
    His assignments and appointments to:

    Senate Committees for Foreign Relations
    ,
    Environment and Public Works
    Veterans' Affairs ,
Environment and Public Works committee and additional assignments with Health, Education, Labor and Pensions and
Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs...should cover that.

He also became Chairman of the Senate's subcommittee on European Affairs. as a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee,

Senator Obama has made official trips to Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa as a member of these committees.

..and of course Joe Biden being the chairman of the Senate Foreign relations Committee should be ample.

Do you need any more stats, or are these ample to show not just experience , but the trust of his fellow Senators ?

Why do you all keep saying that he has done nothing, but refuse to actually check out the facts that you claim to know?

That looks a lot more impressive if you dont know he's Chairman of a committee that he's never convened... or that he started this race 142 days after he hit the Senate. Yeah... he's real deep on foreign policy cred. LOL

Even the DNC admits he picked up Biden because Biden brought credibility in that field that Obama lacked. Try to pay attention.

Where do you get the 142 day figure from? I had this debate with someone else, he had no clue where it came from, in fact I proved him pretty wrong.

Unless I am unaware of something that makes it 142 days. He did state until he 'announced' his run, a little different than what you have.

The 2 together are a lot more impressive, educated, respected, and able than McCain/Palin "not flinching" and pressing buttons all over the place.

Hey if you want 72 year old McCain who all of a sudden found this new found "Change" attitude, and a soccer mom commanding your Trident Missiles and talking to Putin, then by all means vote the country down the drain so that we can lose even more respect of the world stage.

If you look at how others in the world are writing about who we are actually considering for the White House, they are actually in disbelief and some are even laughing at us.

As a Veteran, I like and respect John McCain, and as a person I like Palin, but I love my country. Big difference.

That ticket is not the direction that I see for change and honor. It appeals to some Americans 1950's image of what they think America should be.

    It is outdated.

lol the future VP of the country and possibly a president is being hidden from reporters because they might ask hard question
It seems that they think she is not ready for the big time. That is what i have been saying all along. Then the question is what did mccain base his selection on. winning before country.

I know :) She had one interview that they prepped her for, for 2 weeks and it was obvious.
Funny, I don't see anyone defending her interview with ABC news. No one.
Because deep in their hearts, they know. No matter what they post in public, they know.
    It's like the Stepford Wives.

hmansfield - The VP candidate you favor just said Hillary Clinton has all the right experience to be VP or President. What did she say about Obama and McCain before she was in a position of asking Obama to help retire her campaign debt?

From a March edition of the DNCs favorite source... the Huffington Post:

Rob, the facts of how long Obama has been a U.S. Senator compared to McCain is plain enough for any 2 year old to see..we know. McCain is 72 and been around in politics since '82.

The issue is, what has he learned, and who is in the best position to make things happen? A dug in old salt who hires lobbyist to run his campaign, or the new guy that is disgusted with what he has seen thus far.

I'm gonna go against the guy who hires his old lobbying biddies....oops, I mean buddies.

Hmmnn, didn't McCain get into trouble once before for accepting gifts, plane rides and cash from lobbyist....but I am sure he has changed.:p As they say, everything about him seems to be more of the same. I'm not taking the chance that his actions are not a what matters, but his words are.... and it will all be different once in office.

It actually came from McCain, when he was asked about Palin's foreign policy credentials. That's whY Charles Gibson brought it up. Believe me no one on the Democratic side would assume the American people to be THAT stupid.

Yeah, the idea that this guy who has been in the Senate for 26 years and voted with Bush 90% of the time is going to bring change is fucking hilarious.

    @ hmansfield

Do you think the VP debates will have weight this election and effect the outcome of the election?

Who do you think will come out on top? Palin or Biden?

the people that vote for Obama vote because he is smarter, and more capable. There is a difference.

People that support McCain chose him based on the experience. McCain himself has said experience is important. He has said the VP must be ready to take over on the first day.He has said the biggest challenge the country faces is Foreign policy and spent a long time attacking Obama based on that. Then he goes and chooses miss Alaska or something like that. lol when he announced her he looked like he just hired an assistant. Then a grown man has the nerve to insult our intelligence and say she lives close to Russia so she has experience. What the fu-k is going on with the old man. Has he lost his marbles. then there are some republicans that go around and repeat that shit all over the place. Please stop lying senator McCain. and if you want to lie then lie good.
Look at this fool trying to con us into electing McCain.Wake up people. It seems that some people just can not independently come to an understanding of what goes on.
