They don't ban you for buying through your own affiliate link, don't be stupid. Some vendors actively encourage you to purchase through your own affiliate link if you are looking at promoting their products etc.
Yes they will ban you, don't try to do it, just read their TOS, and you'll understand, why opening a thread for a question like this?
No. They won't. You should have read their FAQ before posting... 25. Can I purchase products through my own hoplink? The short answer is yes, but ClickBank does not condone affiliates using their accounts for this sole purpose. As stated in our Accounting Policy, "ClickBank accounts cannot be used for the sole purpose of collecting rebates or otherwise extending credit to yourself or others." That is, affiliates should not be using their own hoplinks to purchase products for themselves and then collect a "rebate" check from ClickBank. Unless an account contains sales from made with 5 or more different credit card numbers, including at least one Visa card, and one MasterCard, our system will not generate a check for that account (even if the balance has met or exceeded the payment preference). PayPal purchases do not count toward the minimum. So if you purchase a product like few times a month through your own hoplink, nothing will happen, especially if you make some other sales. But obviously, if you do this regularly, for example, 10-20 a month or more, then they will do something about it.
I am more concerned about buying a product and returning it so I can review it becuase in the clickbank FAQ it says if people keep doing that they will be banned (probably their paypal) but there are a lot of people with review sites that do this so is it okay or not?
You don't necessarily have to return the item. For example, if I buy something through my own hoplink for review purposes and really like the product, then I will keep it.
ive at least done this 5 times buy through my own hoplink, being disappointed at the product, returning it no problems, at all
If you are worrying about that than do ask you relatives to buy from that link , after that you can pay them and you can get that product in discount .
I ever bought some through my hop link and returned for few items that I saw those are crap. But everything is OK until now.
