It is in fact possible to get #1 rankings for every keyword you want, but the price may not be affordable. Saying that it's not possible is akin to saying the search engine algorithm is a complete black box, which is not true. You can either build links the white hat way through linkbait and the likes, or you can build them the gray / black hat way through spamming and buying links.

I agree with you here, that's the problem with people offering guaranteed SEO services here on DP, if they really can get Top10 for any keyword I sincerely doubt that they would be selling it on here for a cheap price or selling it at all. Another thing I've noticed is a lot of the websites of those offering SEO services have are terrible SERPs themselves and a lot of the time have no PR or a huge Alexa rating.

And that's why I created this thread; to find out if anyone has worked with a quality SEO company before? If so what was it, and what is the URL?

Logic seems to be in short supply today.

The Google algorithm is no black box. If you could have an unlimited amount of links you could have unlimited amounts of #1 positions. Since there is either lots of labor or lots of money involved in getting lots of links, it costs a LOT. A while ago Rand Fishkin from seomoz.org was offered 10 million dollars to get the #1 position for "online poker" or something similar and he refused because he said it would really be work that's worth 10 million dollars.

The REASON why these offers are usually scam made by scum is because these companies just want the easy buck. Customers don't understand SEO very well, they see a guarantee for lots of traffic and bam, money in the bank. The fact that they will get #1 rankings for keywords like "motorola razor v8 cell phone charger cable wiring molecular structure" doesn't hit them until it's too late.

 

THis is like the BEST Argument of THE MONTH!!!!

 

Its up to the keyword; no one can guarantee for competitive words.
Its just like pizza delivery services; if not possible they are telling its not guaranteed to deliver in x minutes
