I like the template. Perhaps too many icons in that middle column. That banner in the top right corner is not clear at all either. Apart from that, looking good.
I am still moving stuff around, I am not sure if I like the little icons maybe I will switch those out.
I know when I used that theme on blogger I removed quite a bit of it and changed it around. Still a good theme to start with though.
Is using a free service like blogger going to hinder the monetization? I want to make money eventually, but for now this is just a hobby, writing is fun and it kills time at work.
When I was using blogger I was making money via adsense and other products. I switched to word press just for personal preference. It wouldnt hurt to have a custom domain point to your blog instead of xxxxx.blogspot.com..

Yeah, Usually, I always find something on a site that would make it look better from my opinion, but this site looks like something I would make myself. Lots of unique text for SE, and a very simple layout, while still being organized. Good Job!
