Palin's son going to Irak: a God's move?

Interesting interview of Palin yesterday on TV.
    But tell me:
What is the difference between going to another land to kill people in the name of God and going to another land to kill people in the name of God?
None. Some are muslims going to New-York and the others are Christians going to Irak.
You tell me where is the God's decision in this, Mrs. Palin...
All and any religious fanatism is very dangerous.

Most Christians think everything is Gods Will. Is that a bad thing? I think it will make her realize the hardships of war and what the average family goes through. Unless you have every been to a hostile area or have a family member in that situation you have no clue what a soldier is going through. This is a reality check for her and I wish her son a safe return.

    Yeah...everything is God's will...

    http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2002/01/15/priest-charged.htm

    If it's God's will...then we're OK I guess...You might be right...

Beside, God's will to eliminate 1000 children per hour without to move a finger is probably OK...

    WAKE UP...

    Religious fanatism is very dangerous

It's not a bad thing for anyone who doesn't want to take responsibility for their actions or have accountability for their failures, To everyone else it sounds like a cowardly cop-out.

I hope he comes back safe and wish politics would not be involved on either side when a soldier goes to war.

In other news, so Palin went to Iraq or did she?

I've said it already, but I'll say it again. The U.S. will not and cannot launch a direct war against Russia. The loss on both sides will be unimaginable. There are chances of a reemergence of a highly intense cold war though.

But...but...Contentedge...you are writing common sense here...and we are writing about politics...hellooo...focussss...
In 8 years of Bush administration, what kind of common sense has been used? Huh?
-WMD in a country with 15 years of embargo, making that country not even capable of feed its people and even less building a grenade?
-War against a global threat like terrorism by going in Irak? why not zimbabwe? (terrorist captured so far: Spain 1267 - USA 1)
I can't wait a new President to finally fight terrorism...
    Huh? which one?

You're right. There has been no traces of commonsense whatsoever. But the countries you've mentioned are not capable of fighting back. But Russia is a major nuclear superpower. So, the U.S. will not think of a direct war against Russia.

I was away for a couple days - Nice to see the rampant anti-American posts are still going strong.

If there are fanatics that are trying to be elected in America you should get used to hear anti-American words everytime.
