I am sure his book will sell much better than if he had said something less racist.

 

Exterminating a race is not a joke. I wish he talked about empowering black people rather than exterminating white people. But then, hatred can make you say a lot of stupid things.

 

I didn't see a joke. This is old news for starters (check the post date of the video) and for seconds this man is an academic and an author. He knows very well what he is saying and what sort of response it will engender. That was the goal. To get a passionate response. I honestly think he might have failed because it is two years later and I am just now hearing about this guy.

There are racial extremists everywhere and when ever you hear about them you can be sure that being heard was what they wanted. And how about instead of empowering black people he went and empowered people regardless of their race. This guy was at a Katrina talk and was eating up the BS propaganda that the governments failure in Katrina was somehow related to race. IT WASN'T! It was about poor people and how little the government gives a shit about them.

This separation of race is a social ploy people use against each other and we will never escape the cycle of racism until we see it for the big ass piece of wool it is and pull it down from our own eyes.

 

I didn't see it as a joke either. I know how people can get sucked up into some insane propaganda. It happens all over the world. And while on that topic, do you remember the hatred tirade of Kanye West during Hurricane Katrina?

Only if you assume I mean Black Players, and that a disproportionate number of them date white women..and that there is a problem with that.
You have to think racist, to make it racist.
But again, I should be careful to be politically correct even when joking about myself.
