xml site map through http://www.xml-sitemaps.com

    i use xml-sitemaps.com for creating xml sitemap for my site but it shows fetal error message - "Allowed memory size of 100663296 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 524288 bytes) in /home/xmlsites/public_html/pages/class.grab.inc.php on line 208"

    how can i allocate extra bytes in given path.

    You should also try auditmypc.com/free-sitemap-generator.asp, that link can solve your problem

    I also use XML-Sitemaps dot com. It is a quick tool i believe. Recently i have created sitemaps for my domains advanceware.net and easterncourier.net from this site.:)

    Basicly it's an out of memory problem. You can try ask the developers.

    To have this kind of problem, you must have a payed account with them? like ThomasSchultz said, it's indeed a problem of memory allocation within their server.

    If it's the case, you are probably generating a sitemap that is over 100Mb of data. Google only will accept sitemaps with a maximum of 10Mb of data and 50000 links. After that, you will have to split your sitemap and make an index. If I remember well, ThomasSchulz sitemap builder does this for you.

    You can use some desktop based softwares as well. Try out any one of them.

    Does anyone tried to integrate sitemap generation in CMS or use some plugin for that purpose? I myself created one for joomla! - so I don't need to create sitemap each time when content has updated.

    I usually use xml-sitemaps.com, but any time I run into trouble, I use auditmypc.com and it works great. Xml-sitemaps.com will often come up with some kind of error, but I rarely have trouble with auditmypc.com.

    It's PHP configuration problems regarding memory size. Maybe you have so many links on your website. You must contact them to resolve it.
