Do tou know why surgeons wear green dress during surgery?

Did any of you guys ever wondered why surgeons wear green cloth during surgery? Why they dont wear colors like red or white or any other color?

Well it is because green is the most pleasant color to the eyes and it is the color that soothing to the eye.

So my dear friends "GO GREEN"

 

But what about blue? They also wear light blue which is also calming and soothing lol

 

Why dont they just wear RED, or Black

EDIT: From now on, I decided to only visit Female doctors, and ask for female surgeons, and Suggest they wear NOTHING during surgery

 

Then you would be asleep??

 

I think it is customary to wear green because you can really identify surgeons from non surgeons.. Besides green is Abundant in nature, green signifies growth, renewal, health, and environment.

 

People quickly became aware that blood was more impressive on white clothes, and that the light was reflected in excess by white during the operating procedure. White was therefore abandoned, and blue or green became the colours of choice.

Pink color for girls would be great!

I think they shouldn't wear any thing at all espcially the female doctors and nurses

 

You can always give it a try and ask lady surgeon not to wear anything and find out what happen.

 

Yes I do, in Nepal all the surgeons wear green dress during surgery, that's a compulsion

 

Yeah. Green is the cool color. That's why dp is green and it attracts so many new members everyday

 

Not only in Nepal i think throughout the world surgeons were green apron during surgery.

 

I think they are showing eco -friendly clothes
