Was your EFT late this month?

So I have been using the EFT method offered by Google to recieve my Adsense earnings each month, and without fail it usually hits my bank account either on the last day of the month, or the 1st.

This month however I didn't recieve it until the 5th? It's not a huge deal but the thought did cross my mind that there may have been a problem with my account. Has anyone else recieved such a delay, or is this normal?

I ask because I have standing orders which transfer funds from my business to my personal account on the 4th of each month, meaning that if on a regular basis my Adsense payment does not hit my account until the 5th there is a chance that my account may not have sufficient balance to process the standing orders.

Should I put this transfer from my business to personal back by a few days, or was this just a one off delay by Google?

Mine was delivered almost instantly (25th, which is, I think, the same day it was issued), but that is normal for me because it's a U.S. bank account.

Is it possible for you to monitor the situation and postpone the transfer if necessary? Not to be a party pooper, but even if the next fifteen months Google's payment reaches you by the 1st day, then on the sixteenth month it could be on the 7th day. Things happen.

If there would be negative consequences should the funds fall short, my advice would be to keep an eye on it. Since you probably already notice when the AdSense payment comes in, as long as you can change the transfer on short notice that should take care of the situation. If such a delay does come up again, then maybe you'd consider moving the transfer back several days, as long as that won't cause any other problems.

    Thanks for the reply.

I think moving the transfer back as you suggest would be the best idea.
I have a UK business bank so I suppose it's never a clever thing to rely on a foreign bank transfer to keep you in the black, so to speak.

Will teach me to do my research, for months and months I always got it on the last day of the month or the 1st of the next, and I never thought to actually check to see whether the transfer was guarenteed by the 1st.

I haven't received mine yet which is very strange cos it's normally in my bank account at the start of each month. I'm based in the UK, apparently someone on here suggested that it normally goes in at around 24-25 which is a complete new set of dates for me. I'm not really sure if they'll give my money or not as it has well exceeded the $100 threshold. No problems before until now...

The 24th/25th dates are only for US publishers I believe. UK publishers can expect their EFT to be processed from the 1st of the month onwards.
