Is this normal...? I've just started CB and don't know what I should be expecting with it... This is a review website by the way... Maybe that has some influence over it?
You're worried after 62 clicks? You must be really paranoid. It can takes hundreds before you get a sale with any affiliate program. I would worry if you didn't see a sale after 1000 clicks. If you have good quality traffic I'd worry after 400ish. If it constantly doesn't perform if you send it traffic, then stop sending it traffic and find another program that does convert for you.
I'm not talking about clicks, I'm talking about hops; maybe that's what you were saying but I don't know... And of course I'm paranoid, I've never done this before! Thanks for the statistics!
Hops = Clicks. It's different terminology depending on what network you are talking about. Clickbank in general doesn't convert really well, so don't expect much.
OK, so you have your cookie dropped on 62 computers. There is a good chance some will come back and buy later. I almost never buy the first time I discover something. I usually visit a few more times while I'm trying to decide weather to buy or not. Give it a chance, it will happen.
Thats possible but very unlikely, only a small percentage of sales come from returning visitors in most cases (if they didnt opted in or something) So its best not to hope that there will be any sales from those clicks.
Hops are clicks. Good products will convert at about 1% or more, so really you have nothing to worry about even if you were promoting a solid product.
We will agree to disagree. I have promoted products with a 180 day cookie and stopped promoting it due to a change in TOS and continued to receive sales months after I quit promoting it.
I tend to get a sale on every 50 hops. But, you may just be unlucky...Clickbank is having problems and i have had absolutely no commissions this month.
I think Clickbank or any other affiliate program has little to do with luck... It has to do with many factors like landing page, review page, quality traffic or whatever else, but luck plays a very little roll in it.
dude , try to improve your sites landing page and then try to write better articles happens all the time
I'm just starting out though... and any traffic I recieve is completely organic from what little SEO I've done so far.
The only other way I've even mentioned it is here at DP though... Where else could it be coming from?
