    Hello.

I am not one to complain about infractions usually but a moderator went above and beyond his or her power the other day by issuing me a 7-day ban infraction from this thread:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1012438

There was no legitimate reason for it, at least not one that I could find. The B/S/T forums are to offer things for buy, sell, or trade, and that's what I did.

Now can someone explain to me the real reason of why I was issued a 10-point infraction and a 7-day ban for that thread?

Because of the bullcrap, the server didn't sell, and thus I had to pay the fee out of pocket.

These forums really need to get in line - procedures and policies should be better set, as well as forum maintenance (not blaming any mods or staff, just the admin, SHAWN). This place is getting more upsetting as the months go by and soon I am sure this place will be defaced and destroyed by spam and/or hackers when the forum is outdated more than it already is.

    Thank you.
Mods, please change this user's username to "Mr. Obvious". ;) :p

I know that but I am talking about Digital Point. There's areas of improvement that need to be addressed better than enforcing user bans.

I just received the reply that because I stated "PM or reply to buy" I was banned...because if someone posts in the thread, it's considered auto-bumping.

    That's BS. I didn't do crap.

A server rental is virtual...I wasn't physically selling it.

Seven day bans result when you do not follow the announcement posted in buy, sell, trade. Basically theiry are either issued for
    • Asking for bumps
    • Bumps

Your thread makes the following statement:please PM or reply to buy.

Oops while I was looking it appears someone alerted you the reason for the ban.
