ı found this articles at aft; If your daily Google Adsense earning is less than 5 dollars, your strategy is wrong. I thought that the most quality traffic kind is google (organic) but here, article says direct traffic is more important. I sometimes make 5 dollars a day, sometimes, 2 dollars. Many of the people here do not make large amount of money. Tell me guys, What should we change?
If you hit Edit and then go to the "Go Advanced" portion of the edit (down near the right corner of the box) you should be able to change the title. I know that works for individual posts, I assume it will work for the thread itself?
work on placement... maybe try different niches ... it is sad to say this.. but i used to have a site with lots of traffic in a niche that paid very little and i made maybe 5 dollars on a good day... then i switched to a niche that i got very little traffic compared to the other site, but make between $20-$50 a day now..
kg-lew you're right but as you know, it's not easy to promote high paying keyword sites. When you switch to an highly paying keyword, how much time did it take to reach 20 dollars a day?
Anyone who comes up with a statement that he thinks is all-encompassing for Adsense earnings is a bit near-sighted. Unless the statement is something as mundane as "You can't earn money with adsense if you don't put the ads on your site" Adsense is not "one size fits all" Traffic of one kind may work wonders for some people and be the kiss of death for others. Filter ads. Don't filter ads. Use Text Ads. Use Image Ads. Get SE traffic. Forget SE traffic, just get backlinks. None of those statments is valid for EVERY site.
Adpuster i agree with that. Every web site have specific requirements to get monetized but there has to be some common points that many people miss. The cost of learning these points with experiencing is too high. The most important thing in this industry is time and wrong strategies cause to lose a lot of time.
The reason why it mentioned direct traffic is more important is because it was based on an example taken from a humor blog. Direct traffic should come from visitors who actually bookmark the page and hence indicate that it has loyal group of readers following the blog.
Yeah i agree with that. At this point, branding comes maybe. If you brand a blog, people type you url and visit it directly. Otherwise, you'll be a nameless "site page" referred by social media sites.
