BlueHost problems in recent days?

Anyone else seeing some real problems with BlueHost grinding to a halt the last few days? As I speak I cannot even access their home page at www.bluehost.com, so I guess something is wrong - perhaps some DOS attack?

Anyway, it's a big problem for me, cos my sites are basically inaccessible... That aside I have always been very happy with BH...

Only a minute later, but their site is loading fine here. Have you tried from a different PC / Location?

Hmm, no, still innacessible... Have tried through a proxy and that gave up the ghost too. That's weird... Will try resetting everything my end, though can't see that'll change anything.

It's been dodgy for a couple of days - FTP access has been painfully slow too...

I'm in Europe, Serbia specifically. The net in general is working fine (well, fine for Eastern Europe :) ) - DP runs like greased lightning! So I wonder what would affect just that one domain...

P.S. Try my "WordBay" link below - that's hosted there and won't open at all here.

Hmm, OK, well thanks. BlueHost is based in Utah, I believe, so I even tried some other Utah-based sites, but they work fine

OK, so it's not just me going crazy!

Well, it looks like they've got some serious problems. But don't kill yourself, it's not worth it! Probably the tech people at Bluehost are the ones about killing themselves right now...

I guess I will have to go out tonight then, instead of fiddling with my websites! Hey... it's FRIDAY!

Most likely this issue still persists.

    Dear Friends,
I am still having problems in uploading files to BlueHost with FTP, files are downloading as usual but in uploading, even very small file gets 'Timed Out'.
I tried by changing Machines, FTPs, and IPs...but,everywhere same problem... downloading fast but uploading 'timed out'.

My host account has got unlimited bandwidth and storage, so no issue like that.

The problem persists for last four days since one of BlueHost 'router was down'..(according to bluehost customer care ).

But regarding my this problem, the bluehost guy checked everything and verified as 'working fine'...simply asked me to reset my router/modem ( which I had already done 100 times)
...now I am clueless...facing severe problem to manage my sites.

..... is there somebody to help me out ? ?
    .........THANKS in advance.
