This speakes volumes for you and the US government, but you don't even realize how damaging is to you. It doesn't take much brains, but you have to have it.

I don't understand why people like wars and confrontations? Something evil must be living in them to have pleasure when people suffer and die.

Make a U turn man while it is still early for you. Don't follow the evildoers. They start with big words ang great promisses, but always end up with failures. Bush is a perfect example.

aid on a WARship? Sure! :D

p.s: Russia knew about these ships a few weeks ago, when they werent even there))) There are some russian ships 400 km away in Abkhazia. Thats why they were sent there, to watch american once ;)

homebizseo, dont worry, now you beware, that 2 russian strategic jets Tu-160 flew to Venezuela ;) Now, thats not a Europe, thats far closer to you my friend :)

    A quote:

The only action that current US administration can do now, is start a new cold war. Russia already showed, that it wont take BS from US anymore.

    US - > Georgia
    Russia -> Venezuela or Cuba

Georgia stopped all diplomatic relations with Russia. Although, later they changed their mind as it will hurt them more than Russia.
Venezuela: Hugo Chávez expels US ambassador

^Now who said that US is not involved in the Russia-Georgia conflict?) Whoever said it, they are blind. The "game" is very clear to me.

This is a chess game in which it is obvious from your post you know only how to move the pieces.

Anyway this admin wants a new arms race. Only the smart Americans see it.
What the fools in America don't see is that Russia can pay for the arms race by simply selling their deffensive weapons to third countries.
And it will make it much harder for US to bomb and invade them.

Imagine every little country with S-400 air diffense system and Sunburn or Yakhont missiles and ICBM Topol missiles and .........

Make a U turn man, you're going nowhere with this kind of thinking. The civilized world won't support a US inspired arms race you can count on it.

    Again, be specific.

    You said:

The US did not start the Vietnam war. The US ended it. The US, and the North and South Vietnamese governments signed a peace agreement on January 27th, 1973. However, Vietnamese Politburo member, Le Duc Tho refused to accept the agreement. Instead as the US peacefully pulled out of a conflict started by the French, they were attacked in the process.

Throughout their history, Somalia, has sought the help of the United States. back in the 70's during the Ogaden War, the Somali Army was all but destroyed, and Somalia asked then President Carter for help. Now Carter initially indicated he would help, but then later decided not to. As a result American allies in Asia and the Middle East decided not to help either. Some argue they were afraid of pissing the Soviets off as we were still in the Cold War then (likely long before you were born).

In the late 70's the Somali government all but collapsed amidst a civil war. Later in the 80's as the cold war came to an end, Somali was now of little interest to the Soviets. As a result, they sunk even more into a government run by a dictator. Amidst a continuing civil war into the 90's the UN authorized a peace keeping mission in order to conduct humanitarian operations for the Somali people who not only were starving, but did not have water, let alone a Nintedo WII or the internet that you appear to so enjoy as you shout off at the mouth about something you know nothing about.

The US along with the UN and various allies entered Somali at their request in something called OPertation Restore Hope in 1992. THis operation was quite sucessful in restoring order and helping deal with the starvation and genocide taking place.

In 1993 the US all but completely withdrew from Somali leaving the UN to continue operations. However, Aidid - then Somali General and part of the Somali National Movement decided to attack the Pakistan Army, (part of the relief effort there with the UN), and in doing so eventually killedy 18 American Troops and over 1000 of his own people, fellow Somalis.

2 years later, the UN would leave having once again accomplished nothing, except the loss of life.

Another year later Aidid was killed.... This shit went on and on through the end of the 90's and into the new millenium. Civil war was still there, no government was in place and nut job islamists were making the place an even bigger shithole.

Last year in January, the US finally intervened in Somali by flying AC-130's overhead to blow the shit out of islamic nutjobs. As a result the ICU (Islamic Courts Union) that was trying to control Somali was all but obliterated.

Unfortunately as has been the case in these war torn nations where shit bag islamist extremists rule, another set of nutballs rose up and are again fighting the Somalis who are desperate to rule themselves.

For the record, the US never started nor finished any war in Somalia.

You my friend need to read up on your history.

Russia no longer has the Soviet Union or Warsaw Pact countries.

Russia can not compete against the US + NATO + Japan. Do the math on troops and economic strength.

Bill Clinton was the president mess in Somalia.

Believe me that John McCain is no Clinton or Obama.

Russia has got a lot of issues. Part of the problem is that the military is calling the shots. It would seem to me that membership in the G8 and a partnership with NATO would benefit Russia more than confrotation with the West.

Oh, yeah, the US never started any wars, they only helped "good boys" to shoot in "bad boys" around the world.

About the bad finish. Do you think the Restore Hope in Somalia was the lucky for the USA?

Be sure, I know the world history very well.

Did you even bother to read anything I posted? Or at the very least research this for yourself?

WTF are you talking about? Operation Restore Hope was a UN thing, not US. The US as a member of the UN, along with all UN sister countries participated in this.

Again, do even bother to read?

    No, sorry you do not.

bogart you're missing THE WHOLE PICTURE!!!

Russia is not the agressor!!! And won't be.
It is US who is starting the mess. So don't expect NATO to be the Nazi German army for you to fight Russia.
You can be 100% sure it won't happen.

You may know the USA had about 30,000 of soldiers in Somalia and there were just a few 000 of soldiers from other countries of the UN.

Now, I'm sure, you're an USA teacher of the US history.

    Goodbye

There were initially 25,000 US troops and 20,000 UN Troops were left, once the US departed at which time the UN backed UNOSOM II began.

At the time of the bloody uprising, only 1200 US troops remained, not 30,000. Clinton's secret attempts to try to negotiate with that nutjob Aidid is what caused the most harm IMO. In doing so, valuable information, intelligence and armored re-enforcements were denied the Generals and troops and led to the death of 18 American soliders. Nearly 1000 Somalis died as well.

We see here yet again, another time in history where the bungling of war torn countries without leadership are made even worse by UN intervetion, not the US.

Had Jimmy Carter stepped in initially in the 70's, or Clinton told the UN to phuck themselves and took over the operation, the country would not have been left to continue to fester as a hell hole led by warlord gangs and clans.

So again, can you please cite some specific examples that support your intital statements?

No, just a student of it.

    You're leaving? Thank God.
