The best way to generate traffic to your blog is firstly submit your blog to google and try to maintain a good rank. Secondly submit your blog to as much blog topsites and blog directories. Also dont forget to put their link back or your site will get rejected. You can also write reviews about your blog in various review sites and forums

After that, how else to get traffic? You can do a lot by making worthwhile content. Few people are going to link to a site that just has some article copied from some place else. But, if the article is useful and original, people will consider it link worthy.
