Do you think John McCain is tool old to be president?

Ever since John McCain chose his running mate Sarah Palin, there seems to be a lot more McCain supporters. But did any of you guys ever consider that maybe John McCain is too old to be president? If anything happens to McCain if he's elected, then Sarah Palin will be president. Then what do you think will happen then? She knows how to prepare a good speech but is she really prepared to be president? I really don't think so. :(

I agree with you Greg and the choice of Palin makes matters worse.

FYI, we've had presidents die while in office in the past. If he's elected, I hope he doesn't die while in office. However, I think the country will be in good hands with Palin if it does happen.

Even if he doesn't die, there are other reasons why the vice president would take over as president. He could get Alzheimers or something else that would make him unfit to continue.

just imagine that we start something with Iran or worse Russia and he gets a heart attack or anything that requires a few months of hospitalization. will there be anything left?
didn't you hear what she said. she likes making snappy decisions and feels being prudent and cautious is a negative.

If he does get elected into office and we get into a position where we could got to war with Russia then I'm probably going to move to Canada or the North Pole. Much more peaceful there. :)

McCain is so old, his social security number is #1. Regarding Palin, McCain chose her to gain the sympathy votes now that Hillary is out. Palin is not ready to run anything outside of Alaska. We are doomed!

Palin is an accomplished individual... if you've ever taken part in any political campaigns at any level you'll know it isnt always a piece of cake to get someone elected to ANY office, much less govorner. The reason she's driven so many on the Obama side for a loop is exactly why she'd be good.

She understands the American people and they know it. She's not a millionaire, she's a small town mayor that managed to beat entrenched opposition in a pretty bloody campaign to become governor. Despite the screams that she's white trash or unfit for office... most Americans appreciate that a mayor knows the concerns they speak about over the kitchen table eversomuch more than some guy in Congress. She resonates with the public more than any of other three involved... Obama, Biden, or McCain. I have zero problem with her taking over the helm if McCain takes a dive in office.

As for him being too old... his 96 year old mom was at the convention. The younger you are, the older 72 sounds, but we had a 40+ yr old swimmer kick ass at the Olympics this yr. We had a 36 yr old take gold in the marathom. Age is a relative factor and health care has improved to the point that 72 means zip.

Still know a fella who can fix that capslock for you. Simmer down. Ive seen the video. Doesnt change what the validity of what I said.

Obama is hell on wheels at telling us what he'll DO... theres a reason he never tells us what he's *done*. His stuff about bipartisan action is not supported by his record. His love of middle America isnt even supported by what he says when he is speaking on the coast. He talks a helluva game. He just isnt a person of action. Send him back when he can point to having done more than give a neat speech. We'll talk.

You're blind my friend. Stop supporting a couple of "unfit" candidates all because you want to support your party. Haven't found a lot of "dumb" videos about Obama. Honestly Rob, if you were running for president I would vote for you because you're sounding a lot more intelligent than these people. I want somebody in office who can use their own ideas and judgement rather than rely solely on advisers like President Bush has.

I think he is in good shape for his age and after watching the video of him getting off the plane after being held as a POW I think he has the constitution of a rhino in him. McCain is a tough man. But he is still a tool and Palin is about as qualified to run a nuclear physics lab as she is to run a country. Hell she can't even secure her email how can she secure our borders.

Technically no, which contradicts a few warnings my parents gave me... (although I do have to wear cheaters now). :)

I know what you're saying. He's a confused old man that should be considering "retirement". When he's not reading a speech off a piece of paper his IQ goes from 110 to about 75.
