Getting support for scripts. Just really frustrated atm, sometimes getting support for open source products is liking pulling teeth, and commercial scripts arent a lot better. People talk about bad hosting support, the support ive had for my hosting needs over the years has been A+ compared to the scripts ive bought/used. Sometimes, on rare occasion, people go above and beyond the call, i had that experience recently and I had to stop pinching myself, but 99.9% of the time support is terrible imo. Waiting days, sometimes weeks to get things sorted is extremely frustrating. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum btw, wasnt sure...
Open source products are tantamount to dining in a pricey restaurant but only to find out later that it's a self-service mess hall.
Open source software is like getting an undercooked meal in a resteraunt, and, when you complain, being told that you have to go out back to the kitchen and re-heat it yourself. However, this is still preferable to proprietary software, where you send the undercooked meal back to the chef, and he says "What do I care? You've already paid. Oh, and if you try heating your plate up with your cigarette lighter, I'll sue you."
Sorry to hear that,if you have purchased a commercial product and the support is bad.I advise you to just do a charge back.
