Hello, I have 2 landing pages promoting the same products with same keywords. I want to test which one has the better QS & Conversion Rate. Is it ok to have 2 different campaigns? Will the views split 50%-50%?
You can have one campaign with two text ads within each adgroup leading, each leading to a different landing page. You can also try using website optimiser to test landing page elements specifically. As for a 50/50 split - depends on which ad gets more clicks if you set it up as described above with two text ads, each leading to a diff landing page. You can set up one text ad, and have a script alternate between your two versions of landing page to achieve a 50/50 split.
it will not work the way you are thinking... Google will just trump one of the campaigns and it will get all the impressions and clicks. You can test multiple landing pages by placing 2 identical text ads with different landing pages or if your dest urls are set at the keyword level like mine usually is then you can write a landing page script that alternates the pages
Well, just popped in one part of brain while alone sitting in dark of night with Balentines with ice.. You can get 50/50 but you need 2 different campaigns with limited daily budget
