In one of his PM's he mentioned he uses namepros, this is the url of his membership he gave me:

(although it may not be really his)

 

How many others have been caught up in this scam service?

I see he has been banned now, what can I do to get my money back? If I open a PayPal dispute, what's the chances of getting my money back?

Do we know for sure he is a scammer?

I don't think this is our guy... salviacrazy is a member there, but just normal member... however on leftfordeadtalk, he was the site admin, and owner. but i posted on there, and he took the site down.

 

oh now... my $15... wonder if I do a chargeback, do you think would help? Do you think paypal will help?

 

Open a dispute and i guess Paypal would help, i have get several refund from the scammer after i open a dispute on Paypal.

Thanks for clearing that up. I would keep an eye out for salvia offering any services on your forum if I were you! - To avoid your members being ripped off!!!

 

He gave me this same information. I checked out the profile and it was offering the same PR service on NamePros so I assumed it was him.

 

Another reason to think he is the namespro guy... check his sig link (wiisaid.com) check the namesco username...

 

Update on paypal dispute:

No answer from Wayne Shlamp within the allotted timeframe so paypal has 'ruled' in my favour. But...
"We were able to recover $0.00 USD from the seller and processed a refund to you."

 

I too have filed a dispute, and haven't heard a reply just yet. I may escalate it to a claim and see what happens. Let me know how you get on. Cheers

 

Update on my PayPal dispute:

After careful review, we have concluded our investigation of the Buyer
Complaint described below.

We have decided in your favor, however, we were unable to recover any funds
from the seller's account. As stated in the PayPal User Agreement, recovery
of funds associated with a Buyer Complaint cannot be guaranteed.

Yup, it just goes to show how easily it is to be scammed here on DP, and the precautions you must take.

I have been scammed here twice in a month ($100 from this service) and its really frustrating
