I have a website that gets about 400-800 pageviews a day (150-250 unique visitors). I already have AdSense and ShoppingAds all over the site but I'm only earning a few dollars per month. I used to have CPX Interactive banners on the site but I got deactivated because I wasn't getting enough traffic. Do you have any ideas how I could get a bit more out of this website? I would think that with these kind of numbers you should be able to bring in at least a high two figure number The site is an article directory and most of my traffic is from writers/marketers submitting their articles. - Hannes
Since it's an article directory and most of traffic is from writers/marketers i bet you'll find a hard time monetizing it. People don't go there to search/buy anything so i guess it's a tricky site. Try to sell some ad spots to related sites?
You can sell link at your website and banner space. And you can add a feature list of article that ask your member to paid you in order to get their article listed as premium
Same problem: an informative site about Linux: I'm getting no Adsense clicks at all, though impressions are counted well. What can I sell on the site about Linux administration? Maybe books or hosting service?
Yeah, I think it would be a good idea to research products in your market that have affiliate programs - like books about Linux and hosting services. Amazon has tons of Linux books so you could start there (even though the % you get isn't so great). Browse through ClickBank - there are probably a few Linux related products there. - Hannes
