i can get you a basic reseller plan for $5/month with a host that's been around in the united states for more than 8 years.

to answer your question about prices - i think it's a question about reliability. places such as the us, europe, and certain asian countries like japan and korea value quality, others, such as china may go by "quantity over quality"

The hosting market is too saturated for new entrance of new host especially reseller.
And many people will not buy hosting from reseller coz its not secure.

As mentos said. Becoming a reseller in this market is not a wise choice.

My company started out with 3 dedicated servers. The three servers combined were a bit more costly than any reseller plan.

Dont do it if you want to make it rich, as you wont do it without alot of cash.

I use to own a webhosting company for several years. Like everyone else has said, it is a very competitive industry. You need to find a very specific niche and market to that target audience. It will be very difficult to succeed by marketing to a general group of individuals (shot gun approach).

For decent quality dedicated servers, you would be looking at around $150/month. Higher quality, more complex setups will obviously be more but if you are in it for the long haul, it would be worth paying more. You want to make sure that someone will be there to help you if any problems with the network or hardware arise. If you do not know how to administer a server, you should look at either outsourcing it to a third party or find a dedicated server provider with managed services.

Can A Single Person Or Staff of Two technical will work fine for start. As everything will be setuped remotly.
Should I locally Host the servers or Can I purchse dedicated servers and sell space on that.

My answers will be in bold.

What should be best Location OF Server: USA ?,
I would choose either the United States or Canada. I'm from the United States, therefore I am picky about where I would conduct certain types of business. I have always used the U.S. when it came to dedicated servers. I don't regret this choice at all. Quality was always the first thing that was talen care of whether than quantity.

Competitive industry?... In What sense, Price, Quantity, Quality ?
Hosting is a competitive industry because there are a lot of web hosting businesses that are established. Not only that, but new web hosting businesses pop up everyday. This is adding to the already saturated market. Price can be hard to compete with at times, but you need to determine your price upon the specific niche that you are targeting. Quality is something that will make sure that your survive in the tough world of web hosting. If you have poor quality, expect to end up going under.

Can A Single Person Or Staff of Two technical will work fine for start. As everything will be setuped remotly.

I would honestly go with a dedicated server. As far as staff, it is up to you and how much you know about servers. You can also pick up a managed dedicated server, which would help you make sure that when your server goes down, it gets restored as soon as possible.
