I could understand this if you were 15. But to start at the age of 30 is nuts. I tried it when I was younger for a few months just to be cool. I quit though and now that I quit I don't see why anyone would ever start once they get passed 21 or so and know better.
Finally Smoking is banned in workplaces and/or other public spaces in India. Its good for non smokers like me. http://www.iwebie.com/the-ban-on-smoking-india
I smoke and its mostly cause of my job, and i can actually state that lol, i started when i joined the military and quit when i left then started when i got back in lol
I have smoked on and off since I was 16 years old. I am the type of person who can take it or leave it. I was always the only person in my "group" that didn't smoke, so eventually I gave in and started. I would start and quit and start and quit. I don't think it was peer pressure at all. In fact, I hated the smell of it and couldn't stand to be around it but got used to it. I started mostly smoking when I would drink and then it just continued from there. Lately, I have thought about quitting especially with my new health conditions. BUT, you gotta want to quit and I'm not to that point yet. Although, with the prices going up sky high, I need to quit. When I'm at work, I don't crave the nicotene, it's an excuse to get up and walk outside and to take a break. At home, I don't really crave it but again, it's an excuse to walk out on the back porch and "get away" so to speak. ke. Almost everyone in my family smokes. I know it's not good for you and gives you cancer and heart problems but hell so does drinking milk these days
Stop smoking and save money daily. 1 packet per day = 30Rs 30 packet per month = 900RS 1 year you able to save 10,800 plus health.
Once, when I was young, I smoked 2-4 cigarettes during a party. The next day I felt sick. Real sick. From that day on I never smoked again and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Each cigarette is a nail for your coffin.
