I have moreless the same keywords in two different client accounts. Ads from the first campaign displays about 2 000 000 times a day and from the second campaign 50 000 a day. I have to increase numbers in the second campaign. Daily budgets and settings are the same, I have no idea what's gonig on
I was assumin you meant on the search network. I would think this is QS/Historical CTR issue. If Google can only choose one ad to display and bids are the same, it will pick the one with the better QS and historical CTR - in your case the one with the greater number of impressions. Robert?
When a search is carried out for the different key words, you could compare the results returned for a quick and dirty way to analyze how often they are used.
for the content network only the 3 top spots get the most amount of exposure. If your 1st account is getting 2 million and you created a new account and duplicated it, then only 1 of them will get position 3 while the other gets position 4 or below. If you want both to have high exposure both bids will need to increase to take over both position 2 and 3 also you can run a PPR report and compare the 2 campaigns to see which sites are bring in the most traffic compared to each other. You may find out that its just 1 site bringing in the volume....
