Anyone want to give me some honest review's here!

well music is different then web. i would say try a 2.0 look. a new flashy look i would say.

 

I think you should change your font and also the background. It looks not really good.

 

Site looks good, but main text on home page is hard to read, maybe its just me, but bright white on blue background makes my eyes hurt.

I do like the national geographic scroll stuff on the right, pretty cool.

ok ok ok I have heard enough and do not want to be oldschool. I have just looked at over 300+ 2.0 designs so I can get a feel for what everyone wants to see. And I have a 100% new layout that will be launched hopefully by saturday because this time It will be a php site with a 2.0 layout. I just dont want to be stuck in the past!!! I wanted this site to have potential to catch up to some of the other UFO/Paranormal sites. I can never find just 1 with all the info I like to see. I have 4 Ufo/Paranormal sites I have gone to for years because they all have different unique content. But imho the 4 I go to are really old school just plain html with tables.

 

I really want to create a good website.. Finish reading html stuff, halfway in javascript and something is missing.. I need to save my data... What is the next?

What I think about the site. Well, for a UFO site everything seems fitting from what i see. Agreed it looks a little old timer design but it's not a fail. One problem though, that background doesn't give you many choices of text colors, for e.g. red doesnt look good on it.

 

Alright guys new layout is up just a few minor tweaks left. Please Review the new look and let me know if I am looking new. I did not want to launch a retro site. Thanks in advance

 

I would recommend changing the content font

 

Not fine for me.. Try to make it catchy so visitors will stay.

 

For a first website, this is very good. I like the design (Besides the frames), and the top banner and navigation is great.

I also believe that frames are a bad idea, since they can not help much with your SEO rating.

 

Too many graphics, but the overall look is nice.

 

Thank you I will take all thoughts into consideration. I would respond to everyone but I do not want another dumb infraction for bumping. I actually had to look it up because this is the first forum I have ever posted to. And DP wouldnt tell me what I did other than bump.I just feel they should have warned me or atleast tell me more info on what I did wrong. I never meant to break a forum rule.

 

I have taken year another look at it, and it looks sleek, but a new header would be better and maybe some more colours.

I have seen the use of frames, which does not only just annoy your visitors, but also the search engines may not (WONT) , index them.

I reccommend fixing the Frame issue and working on a slightly new design.

It is an old one.. Make it modern by taking some good templates etc. Give it a professional look
