I'm not bidding on this. Just want you to know that it's not an easy task to make those types of talking avatars.

Good luck finding someone who can actually do the work at a reasonable price.

By the way, do you have the artwork completed or is that part of the bid?

    Brief Summary:

    Description:

I want to have a clone of sitepal.com script where you can have animated characters read to you about features of a product that are listed on the site verbally.

am making this script to resell it as is , so an auto reporting system is a must , also Bid should include website design and ability to buy this product straight
from the site. including demos .

The script should have an admin area to enable the user to switch character features voices and languages

preferable 4 languages English, Spanish , French and germane the admin area doesn’t need to be multi language

    thou .

    Acceptable Bidding Terms:

    1. Please bid only if you can finish the project in a reasonable time.
    2. If you are the kind which disappears in the middle of the project, please do not waste your time, or ours.
    3. Please do not bid outrageously high as doing so will just be ignored.
    4. Please note that we don't want an exact clone, but a competing product. We
will own all code and resell rights to product.
    5. Please let us know about the support you will provide after the project completion.
    6. Please provide similar work you have done as samples so we can see your work/style.
    7. The script is to run from client server so all hosts & hosting planes should be compatible with this script
    8. The entire code belongs to us after writing the program. The programmer does
not have the right to resell or regenerate the code for other clients in any
    shape or form.
    9. (VERY IMPORTANT) Please give us the details of how you would go about doing
the project. This will help us understand your capability.

    Payment Terms:

    1. 10% deposit shall be paid once an acceptable demo is provided.
    2. 30% wil lbe paid once we see a full running demo on your server
    3. 30% The remainder will be paid upon successful installation of the script on
    our server.
    4. The remainder (30%) will be paid once the testing is done and the system is
to be bug free and acceptable ready to resell .

Sitepal is a complex system using Sphinx library , You will require more than a coder for this, You require a visual designer , A 3d animator , A web developer and a core programmer for this.

See these sites are not just made out of nowhere, There`s a team behind this developing, maintaing code base, Will suggest you to hire a good proect manager in your city and making a developer team to complete the project

I think you would need at least $5,000 to get a reasonably done job. And that's if you're lucky and find a skilled team for such a low amount. Reasonably, $50,000 would be a minimum. It could easily run much higher.

Those "real actor" websites where you hire a real actor would be much, much easier to develop. However, there may be patents.

You would need atleast 25 thousand just to start this project... Once you have the basics done, you could use it as a demo and get some investors. Complete product would cost you around 100 thousand.

I agree with logylaps. I think it could take 3 skilled people 6 months to finish in the best of circumstances. Easily going to cost at least $100k.
