I was wondering...Is making a blog over rated when trying to drive traffic to your site. If not, what is a good site to post a blog on? I currently have a poker website that is set to launch in a few days. I was told that having people write a blog for the site would be a good idea to track attention! Is this true?
I don't think it could do any harm, You could make a sub domain and start a blog on the site you intend to launch, EG: blog.domain.com. and blog about your site, planned updates, upcoming events etc.. with a new site in a competitive niche, any attention you can draw to it is good. And if you can gain interest in the site before it is launched then that would be even better. Hope that helps.. and good luck with the site Cheers James
