How can i prevent impression FOR BEING RECORDED, when it update my site, i update my site almost every day, but I want to avoid it. Thanks
When working on a new website or doing major updating, I normally save an image file of AdSense ads, upload it to the site and put it in place of the AdSense code.
Wow Josk...but wouldn't doing that cause you to lose some revenue each time an update is carried out? Usually I wouldn't bother about the page impressions recorded mainly because I rely on analytics for the stats.
For improving impression submit articles in directories , digg and stumble . Their are many more good social sites like you can use entrcards .
TO OP: I am not so sure what do you mean. If you are testing your site you can use "test" as adsense code instead of your adsense code which will avoid counting the impressions in your account.
I have so few visits (relatively), especially at night in the U.S., that if I were updating one site, I probably wouldn't lose any impressions at all. Anyway, if I'm only doing minor adjustments I don't bother to replace AdSense with .jpg copies. If major refreshing needs to be done, or a new site is being built, then it comes into play. Another option for the opening poster (if you don't want to risk losing impressions from visitors) would be to build into your script code that would display the images rather than ads only to your IP address. Then you could use two variables: one for your IP (if it changes) and another to switch on/off that code (so that you'd normally be able to see your ads, for instance if you just visited the site to check up on the ads).
okay let me give you an example, my site is about autions people placed as there so what i do to generate income is to place adds from the adds placed thereofre i need to see the site to pick up auctions posted there, here is when the impresion start , i read the Tos, and record your own impression is against the rules from google.. so i am looking for a way to avoid the impression to record my own visits..
