I have started to put toghether a copywriting and website management site with techniques and advice on http://www.clearviewwriting.com/blog

Personally though I was wondering if a few other professionals could give it a once over and say whether they agree or disagree with my techniques, and if so why!

I nearly put this in reviews, but this isn't realy a site review its an advice review!

Really would appreciate any feeback as I think some of my points are pretty much spot on!

I think your best bet is to clean it up a good bit before trying to market yourself to anyone. The mistakes aren't major, but there are enough small ones that they can add up.

Well, my advice to every rookie in the field of writing is- write, write more, and write even more..
It is only when you receive feedbacks from your actual end customers, that you learn how to improve and you realize the areas where you need to improve. So, write+accept feedback= write better
    Regards,

Haha, it is, as mentioned a rough draft!

At the moment it is the ideas behind the content itself I am concerned about!

That's probably true. Too many writers don't hold their own work to the same standard they apply for their clients.

    Really?

Where do the words "rough draft" appear in your original post?

But that's great, because the writing needs a lot of editing.

Let us know when it's all fixed up if you want a review on the presentation, credibility, etc.
