Me domains sells at auction for over 2Million dollars

The Land-Rush me domain auction has just ended and what an amazing internet auction!

The auction sold for over $2 Million Dot .Me domains! The even more amazing part, is that only few peaple where allowed to bid on the current dot Me land-rush domain auction.

The major dot .me bidding is expected to happen later in September, when the premium Dot Me domain names are scheduled to come up for auction. Eveybody will be able to bid on the premium auctions It is only a matter of time before we will see a dot .me domain that score six figure bids "very likely" in the premium .me domain auction.

Everybody semes getting on the Dot Me wagon and for very good reasons. Due to Dot .Me universal appeal and has superb quality to be very easily remembered and branded: Like Date.Me, Mobile.me, Kiss.me, Youand.me, LasVegas.Me, Meet.Me, Loan.Me, Insure.Me, Rock.Me, Funk.me, Watch.Me and 1000's of other great dot .Me domain names.

With these amazing auction domain results, it might be a good time to buy some .Me domains before all the good ones get sold out. It looks like some of the dot me domains could end up as future gold mines! I sure would like get my hands in Casino dot Me or Poker dot Me.

I dont think it is a hype.

They sold for over $2 million on this land-rush .Me auction and it was not even the pemium domain names and only few where allowed to bid on this auction.

Godaddy had world record sales of .dot me names( sold more than they did with .mobi, .al .asia) and all other new domains they have start sell before.
    Thats very impressive to me.

Godaddy moved .Me up to 2 spot just under .com in the big drop down menu.
I asked them why they said they where selling so many of them.

.Me domains are pefect to brand and advertise, just think if you have a domain like Date.me and example advertise it in TV or on the side of taxi's - its simply perfect and super easy name to remember.

Or lucky.me or Insure.Me or Youand.Me or kiss.me and so on
They are simply PEFECT to brand and i think thats why big companies like Apple are also on the dot Me train.

The internet is all about you and me, youtube, Myspace and so on.

Plus .me also is pefect for Spanish peaple/business and Me mean the same as in English- thats like 100's of millions more buyers of dot Me

Time will tell - but way to many signs are telling me Me will get more and more hot.

Dot me has all the elements in it to become a competent rival of dot com. However, if domainers take the easy route, i.e. park them and hope for the best, then I do not think if the whole IT community will ever pay any attention to dot me domains. The only route to success is developing excellent eye-catching successful sites for dot me domains.

I think some are missing the big picture here.. .me is ok (not anywhere near .com, ever) and domainers that have a financial interest in their future are naturally going to be excited and that's ok. It's a new product and that is exciting for some. However, don't let your emotions guide your decision making, this is every bit as bad as making decisions out of fear. Emotions, good & bad, cloud your vision and lead to mistakes (believe me). Balance is crucial and finding that mental spot between emotion and "gut feeling" is the key to ultimate long term success.

But what do I know?

Incase you didn't find it. https://auctions.domain.me/recentSales.aspx

I am not sure I can agree with you entirely.
You should not let emotions cloud your judgment.

Vision and/or foresight, on the other hand, is all about emotion and gut feeling, you can't have one without the other. (unless you own a crystal ball.. that works)
    (IMHO)

Investing $20 a year in a domain name with the hope of making some money of it, is not so much of a risk that you should really worry about emotions getting in the way.. I mean, at worst you waste $20, at best you make some money. and until you are ready to sell, you can build a site and (maybe) make the domain cost back.

Its at auctions where you should not let emotions get in the way. You should work out how much you are willing to pay for a domain, and don't go over it. Don't let yourself get carried away with emotion at auction.
    My 2c

BTW, since you bought it up
Looks like it is going to be in the premium auction...
    You going to bid?

    Cheers
    James

At one hand, you seem very concerned about ordinary dot me domainers and at the other hand you advertise 'Make $1000 Daily' in your signature. I watched your movie and was amazed to see that deception seems clouding the vision and leading ordinary people to invest $997 and rely on others to make money for them. In other words, like a pyramid, the top make money and 99% ordinary people like us leave with nothing.

Just for information, many dot me domainers have already recovered reg cost through parking. If dot me becomes successful (as all indicators suggest), then well and good, otherwise there is nothing to lose. If you do not believe me, send me pm and I will send you screen shots (revenue proof through parking).
