I am just playing with wordtracker today and it is not accurate. For example seo web design brings for Y and Google 790 Searches 1,139 Predicts So that means I would get like at least 200 hits per day. And I am not. In yahoo I am no.1 for that keyword and I get no traffic from it.
It does not mean that if you're #1 you'll get all the hits. It still depends on a number of factors including your title and description that appears on SERPs. That being said, no tool is accurate, especially Wordtracker.
I dont get any traffic from this keyword at all in the whole year, so it does not varies from month to month I should be getting at least 200 per day and I get maybe 20 per month
maybe you have high expectations that your keyword will get lots of traffic, for me wordtracker helps me a lot when it comes to keyword search
I am not having high expectation, but if WT says it has like 800 searches per day and I am no.1 for that keyword in yahoo and I get 20 per month or less than something is not right??
may be keyword research is Dead than I have long believed that all these keyword research tools like WT and KD are over blown. I mean I haven't seen too many reports saying, WOW,how accurate they are!
This would be why you rely on common sense rather than a tool, I would either search for seo or web design, I don't search for both simultaneously.
