NoBama - your mother should have taught you better.

This s** bag calls a mother of five a pig.

with all due respect I wish his mother had done a better job than that.

may be his baster** verion of religion helped him.

Obama has denied any referrence to Governor Palin. It was reported that the crowd immediately thought he was referring to SP.

This was inserted into the speech by his writers. They are the best in the business. They know what they are doing.

Even if I give Obama the benefit of the doubt, he just lost a ton of votes from middle age women all across America.

Can someone tell me what this thread is about? Obama called Palin a pig?

    Publicly?

    <edit>

Ok, I looked it up myself.

    Obama's quote:

I think it's obvious he wasn't calling Palin or any women "pigs". But of course there are so many idiotic people in this country that will perceive it that way, or believe the politicians when they say that it was a derogatory remark.

    I'm never surprised.

    No he didn't.

Have people entirely lost the capacity to listen to words and understand what is being said?

It's scary...I haven't turned on the TV or anything but I would assume this is going to be a huge topic on every news show.

And it's really scary to think that he will actually lose votes because of this. HA HA HA!

Look around, you're surrounded by morons! ;)

Do you really believe that? :D:D I bet you believe Obama is a Muslim and Saddam flew the planes into the WTC.

Or do you care so much about politics that you just want people here to think you believe that?

It's a metaphor to make the point that things can be dressed up to mask what they really are. Over here we use the phrase "polished dog turd".

I actually find it unbelievable that you don't understand this.

I am not from here (if you are reffering to America) I am from India.

Just to let you know most of the Indian's are Clinton Democrats.
I don’t see one supporting republican.

If you had watched the conventions, you should have seen some Indian’s in the Democratic convention and none in the republican convention.

What ever I believe (I strongly think he is wrong in calling her that)

Not sure which culture allow some one to call a Mother of Five a pig.

He didn't call anyone a pig. It's a metaphor. By repeating the same falsehood over and over again you know it isn't going to change reality. All you are doing is lying about what someone said in order to smear him.

I think the lipstick referrence is especially pointed as Sarah Palin made big points with "lipstick" just a few days ago. The crowd knew exactly what Obama was referring to.

I posted this in another thread:

I think it's a saying like "You can put a tuxedo on a goat, but it's still a goat", shouldn't be perceived literally.

There's nothing to be sorry about though.

"I'm sorry some kid India doesn't understand an English idiom." :D
